All 3 runs so far this year: around 41 F, cloudy, same distance, roughly same pace. For some reason, my turnover is much slower than this summer. Legs are not hurting from deadlifts, not particularly tired. They just won’t go faster.
I’m coupling my weight training closely on non-running days. I lifted yesterday, including deadlifting. My legs don’t feel stale or achy from it.
Rather, I surmise that it’s mental. I have low…the only way I call it….low mental positivity. Maybe a few sunny days and the absence of Trump will help.
Till then, it is incumbent on me to keep plugging at it.
